Kavo Marel is a reggae artist from Spanish Town, Jamaica.
I grew up around old radios, street sounds and records that had probably been played a thousand times before I heard them. I still love that sound. The little imperfections, the warm bass, the feeling that somebody is actually there in the room.
I make music about ordinary things. People leaving, people staying, money running out, conversations you remember years later.
Some songs are easygoing, others carry a little more weight. I don't see much reason to separate the two. That's life, really.
