The Walls Stay Warm is a collection of twelve songs about the places and people that stay with you.
I wanted this record to sound like something you might find on an old cassette in somebody's house. Deep bass, loose drums, guitars that leave room for silence, and melodies that don't try too hard.
A few of these songs came from memories. Others started with conversations I overheard or things I noticed walking home.
It's not a record about having all the answers. Mostly it's about getting through another day and finding something worth holding on to.
